Welcome to French II
Please know that this year, the majority of the course will be conducted in French. Verbal communication is expected from students in French. I am not looking for perfect grammar when a student speaks, but rather I am listening to see if they can be understood because being understood with imperfect grammar is better than not being speaking at all because the student is afraid to make a mistake.
This year we will continue building upon your child's knowledge of French. We will introduce sports, celebrations, vacation, and the home vocabulary wise.
On the grammar front we will be adding on new verb forms as well as the most common forms of the past tense.
This is a very important year for the development of knowledge in French. The effort put into French II can determine the success a student experiences in French III.
