About Us

Strategically located on Chapel Hill Road in the southeast section of the county, Chapel Hill High School serves approximately 1,600 students and competes in Region 5AAAAA for sports and activities. Our academic program at Chapel Hill High School is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and well-rounded education. Our class schedule structure allows for a more focused and in-depth approach to learning. We offer a wide variety of classes, including advanced academics, fine arts, and Career, Technical and Agricultural Education, catering to diverse student interests and fostering a culture of academic excellence.
We also take pride in our Advanced Placement Magnet Program, launched in the fall of 2014. This program provides increased opportunities for students seeking to accelerate their learning and challenges them with rigorous coursework. We added the AP Capstone to the Advanced Placement Magnet Program in 2016-2017, which enhances the college preparation experience by incorporating an independent research component, allowing students to delve deeper into their areas of interest. Our goal at Chapel Hill High School is to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing world, preparing them for a bright and successful future.
