Hello My Name Is...


Erika Mayfield

This is my 6th year here at Chapel Hill High School and my 17th year in the teaching profession.  Teaching students about the world of business and computer science is my passion and it is my goal that my students walk away from the learning experience with something tangible they can use immediately.  Because of my passion, drive, and enthusiasm for teaching and learning, I like to provide a learning environment that promotes student growth in every aspect of their life.   

I am a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with degrees in Management, Masters in Business Administration, Education Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction.  I recently completed a computer science endorsement. Prior to teaching, I was a financial assistant and then a buyer for the Court Administrator in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for eight years.  I believe that through my personal experiences in the business industry and providing real-world application of the content, I can ensure that every panther is prepared to compete globally in an ever-changing world.

I am married with two sons ages eight and one.  I enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
