I have been teaching Business Education and Computer Science for 23+ years, the vast majority of those years have been at Chapel Hill High School.
I enjoy teaching computer science, traveling, being outdoors, playing sports & games, and spending time with family and friends. My wife is also a teacher in the county. Both of our sons are graduates from Chapel Hill High School (2009 & 2016).

For all courses you will need:
A Notebook (prefer spiral but a 3-ring is fine)
Pencil or Pen
Headphones ( are encouraged -- either a plug in or USB [Blue-tooth will not work] )
You will need a non-school email account that you can access and use for registration of resources (Gmail or some other account is fine).
We will use a variety of resources for each class. However, Google Classroom will be the starting point each day, please check it daily.
Unless otherwise directed students should use the desktop computers in the classroom not Chromebooks or personal devices.
Unless a class is an AP course, most classes will require little to no homework if you stay on top of classwork. If you are absent you will have some make-up work. AP courses will have some homework but I will try to keep it to a minimum.
Don't be intimidated by a computer science. I will teach you everything you need to know for success in each class. If you have any questions please ask!
