Apply to College and Career Week is coming to CHHS November 10-14. The week will be filled with many great events. Please see below for a full list of the week's activities. Seniors must sign up to be eligible to participate. All sign-ups are linked below and in the Class of 2026 Google Classroom. The deadline to sign up is Friday, October 31.
Monday, November 10: Apply to College Day
Seniors sign up to get application help for the counseling team during an assigned block
Transcripts will be sent to the colleges of the participants choosing for FREE
CSU Instant Decision Day (40 students max. Must submit application to participate. See sign up for details)
Tuesday, November 11: Tips and Trivia Tuesday
Seniors sign up for a College Essay Lunch and Learn to get help with your college/Common App Essay
OR participate in college knowledge trivia in the cafe during your assigned lunch
KSU Instant Decision Day (40 students max. Must submit application to participate. See sign up for details)
Wednesday, November 12: Workforce Wednesday
Seniors sign up to learn about opportunities in trades and technical fields
Skilled trades are in demand, and salaries are on the rise. Students who earn a certification in a trade earn an average of $80,000 a year with NO student debt.
Thursday, November 13: Troop Thursday
Seniors sign up to speak with representatives from all branches of the armed forces
Learn about scholarship and job opportunities in the US Military

Friday, November 14: Future Friday
Rep your future. Wear your future college, military branch, or occupation's attire.
