Club Activities or Events:
HOSA is about providing opportunities for students to learn and achieve.
Students are members of both the Georgia State and National HOSA Chapters. Community service is a major activities that our students are involved in. Hosting two American Red Cross Blood Drives, Douglas County Relay for Life, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Douglas County Food Drive, CHHS Food Pantry and Toys For Tots are just a few community service activities CHHS HOSA has been involved with in the past.
We also encourage participating in fundraising for our local chapter so we can compete at the Regional, State and National Leadership Conferences. One unique way of doing that is by offering 46 different competitive events that are curriculum based. The goal of the program is to promote student leadership, understanding of healthcare and involvement in community service activities.

Children's Healthcare Cape Day 2022

WHEN
Friday, October 21, 2022
ABOUT CAPE DAY
First introduced in 2014, Cape Day is an annual tradition held in October that encourages the community to honor and celebrate the superhero patients battling illnesses and injuries at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Every day, our patients overcome healthcare obstacles and face challenges that most of us could never imagine. We wear a cape in honor of them.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
We all know someone we can wear a cape for and honor this year. Children's is encouraging its patients and employees, as well as schools, organizations and communities across Georgia to wear a cape on Friday, Oct. 21, for Cape Day 2022.
Want to help more? You can purchase a CHOA cape, or gift one to a CHOA Superhero at the following link:
