My name is Courtney Busby. I am beginning my 17th year in education and my 5th year at Chapel Hill High School. I am currently teaching 9th Grade Literature and Composition, British Literature, American Literature, and World Literature. My favorite hobbies include: traveling, being a mom, and watching college football-especially the Alabama Crimson Tide!! I am proud to be a part of the two best departments on campus. I truly enjoy getting to share my love of literature with my students on a daily basis. My goal is to encourage my students to branch out of their comfort zones and to learn to love to read. Reading can take you far in life. The 2019-2020 school year also begins the start of my coaching career at The Hill. I am now the Assistant Swim coach. I am looking forward to meeting new faces! Here is to another wonderful year full of new adventures!!!
