Would you like to earn College Credit while still in high school?
Would you like to leave high school with a technical certificate in an exciting career field?
Check out the CCI
The Douglas County College and Career Institute (CCI) is a career academy collaboration between the Douglas County School System, West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) and the business community through the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce. Students participate in dual enrollment to receive high school and technical college credit for courses taken at the CCI. Dual enrollment develops academic and occupational competencies while accelerating completion of a technical certificate or diploma.
Students who are in grades 9, 10, 11 or 12, and in good academic standing, may apply for admission to the CCI. Students must have an appropriate score on the Accuplacer, SAT or ACT to meet admissions requirements. The Accuplacer is given free of charge at WGTC.
Students may sign up for the Accuplacer Exam at Chapel Hill High School in the Career Center. Students are strongly encouraged to prepare for their exam.
