On Friday, November 3rd, Chapel Hill NJROTC cadets and officers were able to celebrate American veterans at Delta Airlines' Veterans Appreciation Event.
During the event, veterans, students, and visitors were able to tour military aircraft used over the past decades. Guests also heard words of encouragement and recognition from special guest speakers, including seven time Superbowl winner, Tom Brady.
In addition to honoring our service men and women, this event allowed our ROTC students to learn more about possible military careers. Vendors and recruiters from all branches of the US military as well as colleges and employers were present to talk to students about their future.
