About Me

I am originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, but I grew up in Conyers, Georgia.

I began teaching in 2001. This is my 15^th year as a CHHS Panther!

Undergraduate degree in English and Political Science.

Master’s degree in English Education.

Doctoral candidate in English Rhetoric and Composition at Georgia State University. Go Panthers!!

I have two children: my daughter is a college freshman at Kennesaw State University, and my son is a junior in the AP Magnet program here at CHHS. 

I enjoy reading, concerts, plays, films, museums, traveling, hiking, and spending time with my family.
