I am originally from the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago. I have been teaching since 2013. Since then, I have been "Teacher of the Year" twice and was the recipient of the "Florida's Best and Brightest" Award. I currently a doctoral student at Georgia State University and hold a Master's degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Florida. I was the valedictorian of my Bachelor’s graduating class at Florida Memorial University obtaining dual degrees in Mathematics and Music.
